The "We Shall Rise" Mystery Explained . . .

The dead in Christ Shall Rise First ...
. . . And we which remain shall be caught up to meet Him in the air.

15 By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. 17 After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.… 

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17.

There has been a mystery about those who 'sleep' in their graves concerning the Second Comping of Christ.  When will their graves be opened and when will they rise?  

The above scripture explains the 2nd Coming 'mystery' quite clearly.

The Mystery Outline:

I. The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a LOUD COMMAND (sound) with:

A. The voice of an archangel

B. The trumpet of God 

II. The Rise Mystery explained:

A. Dead (asleep) in Christ shall Rise 1st.

B. We who are alive & remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord.

 III.  Then we shall be, Forever With the LORD!

 

 If your loved one knew Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, they are in a sense . . . asleep waiting for the return of Christ.  

What a blessed event that is soon to come to the Church.
