The very last day & the very first day!

Good Morning Dear Friends,

Today's LEJ Title is a bit 'catchy,'  but on purpose . . . please read on.

My LAST DAY

I thought about 'my last day' on earth recently ... how will it be??  Such a mystery, made me a bit sad for a moment.  But then, I realized that my 'last day' on earth ... will be 'the FIRST DAY' in Heaven ... Hallelujah! Such joy!!

Even 'the thief' on the cross received the promise of Jesus of being in Paradise his 'last day' on earth too ... (it really was His FIRST DAY in heaven too!)  See Luke 23:42-43.

We can know about going to Heaven on our 'last day' from John's 'written record' about our last day ... please read:

'And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God'.

1 John 5:11‭-‬13 KJV

We can KNOW that we have eternal life.  We can KNOW that our 'last day' on earth, will be our 'first day' in Heaven and in eternal life.

If you know and trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, your 'last day' on earth is your 'graduation day' and 'First Day' in Heaven.  Amen.
