A Sign From God . . . Part 1 of 2

Do YOU need A Sign From GOD?

Well HERE IT IS!

There are times when we seem to need guidance concerning the Lord's Direction for our lives.  We sometimes pray for a 'sign' from God or something similar to show us God's way or God's will as sort of an assurance of His direction and leading.

During the Exodus, God lead Moses and the Children of Israel out of Egypt by 'outward' signs and wonders.  But today's guidance is placed within our lives as we study God's Word and use our 'eyes of Faith' as we move out in the direction that 'feels right' within our spirit.

I have found out that the Lord's Ways are much higher than our ways, and His thoughts are wiser than our thoughts.  And, usually have an eternal significance behind the guidance. 

And, the Lord knows us and knows how to 'speak to us' in ways that speak to the soul and to our spirit for specific tasks and ministry.

Each one of us is called to perform a certain ministry.  It might not be behind the pulpit, or to teach, or in the jungles of Africa.  But the ministry can be and will be unique to our liking and taste since the Lord put that specific desire in our lives. 

The next step is to actively seek out the Lord's Will daily and ask him to show us His way and to teach us His path.  When we ask in faith, he will lead us.

'Show me thy ways, O Lord ; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Good and upright is the Lord : therefore will he teach sinners in the way. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. ' Psalms 25:4-5,8-9

Your role is so important in the Body of Christ. 

Stay humble, and the Lord will teach us His Way.  
Remember, Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life!
