How many times . . .

Question: How many times do we have to pray for something, or for an event to get 'the prayer' answered? 🙏

This is a 'loaded question' of course!

The answer is simple, but very profound.  (Some may disagree with the answer, but that is okay.)

Answer: One Time (yes 1x).

But, it comes down to one '5 - lettered' word called 'FAITH' or praying IN FAITH believing and saying it.

Jesus said, that if we would say to the mountain, be thou cast into the sea and not doubt, the mountain shall fall into the sea. (see Mark 11:23). 🏔

You see that sometimes we pray in a 'wishing & dreaming' way and really don't believe what we have prayed for.  

Or we 'wish for things' to change.  

(God doesn't live in a 'Gennie bottle'!)

Wishing for and asking for luck is really 'not praying'.  'Luck' is always open for chance and uncertainty.

Yes, we are all guilty of doing this, or we would see more results if we prayed the first time in FAITH.

Sometime we need to go back and "re-pray" because of our motives being twisted for self gain and not the Kingdom of God's glory.

God always responds to humble 'faith filled' prayers.  Think of your answered prayers.  The answer came cause you connected with God by FAITH and that action initiated the answer.

Throughout the gospels there are many examples where Jesus said, "your FAITH has made you well or whole".  

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.  This still works the same way today.  The worlds and universes we see were made and are held in place by the 'unseen' spoken Word of God.

This 'spiritual law' still works today the same way at the beginning.

So then, when we pray in FAITH BELIEVING, we only need to pray one time.  Then, remember to 'thank God' for the answer because it's on way!!

(Unless, we say ... "Oh Lord, help my unbelief!")
