AM I ...

STOPPED!!??

(Part II)

Good Morning LEJ Friends,
"How in the world are you this morning?

Good I hope!"

from yesterday's LEJ.

Jeremiah 6:16a "Thus says the Lord: 'Stand in the ways (or 'Stop' in your ways) and see, And 'ask' for the old paths (the Lord's ways), where the good way is, And walk in it; then you will find rest (soul food) for your souls (life's journey)."

'Italics' my thoughts.

Are you 'Stopped' ???

If 'yes' ... Good.
If 'no' ... may I ask you to 'stop' to read today's LEJ?
Just a small thought in our 'mindsets' can change our live's trajectory for the better!

Yesterday I explained the reason that I have 'STOPPED' on 'life's highway' to make sure that my life was lining up with the goals and plans that God has laid out for me 1st as a disciple, a husband and as a leader in my family and in Church activities.

I also shared yesterday the importance of 'investing' and 'withdrawing' from what the Lord has put in our lives and what we have invested in on this side of eternity.

I AM still 'STOPPED'.

Please consider the following scriptures from Jeremiah:

Then you will call to me.
You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you.
You will seek me, and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:12‭-‬13 GNB

'SEEKING TIME' IS 'WELL INVESTED' TIME

We need to seek God for answers to what we are to do as a Church because we are ....

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and now 'BLACK LIVES MATTER' because of the death of George Floyd situation and other the 'black lives' that were affected. And also the senseless killings of the UNBORN by abortions ... ALL LIVES DO MATTER.

May I challenge each of you to 'STOP' and pray and fast today in some manner for 'ALL LIVES' do matter to God.  The following scriptures can be the foundation and the changed 'mindset' to help us as a people of God.

Please read:

'Love must be completely sincere. Hate what is evil, hold on to what is good. Love one another warmly as Christian brothers and sisters, and be eager to show respect for one another. Work hard and do not be lazy. Serve the Lord with a heart full of devotion. Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times. Share your belongings with your needy fellow-Christians, and open your homes to strangers. Ask God to bless those who persecute you — yes, ask him to bless, not to curse. Be happy with those who are happy, weep with those who weep. Have the same concern for everyone. Do not be proud, but accept humble duties. Do not think of yourselves as wise. If someone has done you wrong, do not repay him with a wrong. Try to do what everyone considers to be good. Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everybody. Never take revenge, my friends, but instead let God's anger do it. For the scripture says, “I will take revenge, I will pay back, says the Lord.” Instead, as the scripture says: “If your enemies are hungry, feed them; if they are thirsty, give them a drink; for by doing this you will make them burn with shame.” Do not let evil defeat you; instead, conquer evil with good.'  Romans 12:9-21

I AM ... still 'STOPPED', SEEKING ... Lord, Change my heart to what is right in Your eyes.  Amen.

Hope to see you tomorrow,
Faith Man
