Walking & Running by Faith

For we walk (& run) by faith, not by sight. (italics by FM)
2 Cor 5:7 ESV

Good Morning Friends,
Hope you are well during the summer-like heat and weather.  Time to get the grill out and cook up a hamburger or two!

I was thinking about the power of prayer this morning and what really initiates the 'answer' to our prayers.

The 'answer' is really simple.

The 'answer' is initiated or actuated by our faith in God's Word and His promises.  There are so many scriptures that teach us this wonderful promise.  During my early hours this morning, the following scripture was on my mind:

And this is the 'confidence' that we have toward him, that if we ask 'anything' according to 'his will' he 'hears us'. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
1 John 5:14‭-‬15 ESV

The 'Faith Man' intrepretation of this scripture is this;

When we pray and ask God for anything or any thing, we can be assured that He hears us, and will answer us in the best possible way that we could ever want or need!

What this means to me, as when we release the burden or care or need to the Lord, we should then 'act' and live then as if the prayer is already answered.

God will display the answer to the prayer on the day and time that it is needed.  Our job is to pray, God's then backs up the answer in according to His Will and timing which is best for all situations.

That is why it says in the Bible, In everything pray and give thanks for this is the will of God (1 Thes 5:17 & 18).

A life of rejoicing and giving thanks should be our 'life's mission statement'.  I'm adjusting to this statement starting today!

God Bless!
Faith Man
