Season of Advent: "Angels are God's Agents"

 Good Morning! It's Friday!!

Gee, 'Christmas Eve' is 2 weeks away!!

As we come to the end of the 2nd week of Advent, I have been thinking about angels and their role in bringing about the birth of Jesus.   We must be mindful that Angels are those 'unseen agents' or 'ministers of fire' that appear on special and prophetic occasions to make certain that God's Will and promises are completed.  And, please remember that God sends His angels to help us everyday and to remind us to give 'Glory to God'!

Could 'the heavenlies' be the Angels Playground? 

Please read with me some of the account of the Angels activities before the birth of Jesus and during the His Birth and start of His ministry too.  Yes, prophecies from 100s of years before the birth of Jesus, where being fulfilled on that special year when Jesus took on the flesh of man:

'But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus , for He will save His people from their sins.”' Matthew 1:20-21

'Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”' Luke 2:8-10,13-14

'Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him.' Mark 1:12-13

"Have you ever been visited by an angel? Have you ever heard an angel? Have you ever been protected and are protected by angels?"  

The answer is a resounding 'Yes'!!! to these questions and more!  

But, you might say, "I have never seen an angel"?!  And, the reason for this my friend, is that 'angels' live and move about to 'Give All the Glory to God'! 

(and only seen when necessary)

And that my friend, is why we were created . . . to Give Glory to God!! 

May we be reminded this Advent Season, 'To Give Glory to God'!!
