TARGET: God's Gift of 'Abundance'

Good Morning!

Happy Wednesday! 

It's the Last Wednesday of the Year 2021!  I am so grateful for God's Provision, Protection and Peace this very day and for everyday in 2021.  May you experience the '3Ps' too.

"ABUNDANCE"

Today we will open 'The GIFT' of 'ABUNDANCE'.

What do you think of when you see or hear the word 'ABUNDANCE'?

I immediately see having 'more than enough' for everything I need for now, to give to others and for future supply.  The word 'Abundantly' Jesus used and was wrote down by the Apostle John.  Please read:

'The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more ABUNDANTLY. Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. ' John 10:7-10

This sounds so inviting and comforting! 

And, these are Jesus' actual Words!  'he will be saved and will go out and find pasture!  

If I am a sheep (Baa, Baa, Baa) 🐑, I think that this 'pasture' Jesus is talking about sounds like the Kingdom of God's 'DisneyWorld' place for sheep.  PASTURE WOO HOO . . . BAA BAA BAA 

aRe YoU ReaDY to Open the 'ABUNDANCE' Gift??

Here we go!!! Now that I have the wrapping paper opened on 'the gift' . . . I am holding on to God's Gift of 'ABUNDANCE' in faith.

The Greek Word for 'ABUNDANCE' in this scripture is: perissos

You will love the 'real meaning' of 'perissos'.  

'Perissos' in the Greek Text means: 'superabundant' in quantity and quality.  And, exceeding abundantly above more, and beyond measure! 

Wow!!! 'What a GIFT'.  

Now, how do we get the 'perissos' to become active and manifested in our lives?  

We seek the 'Kingdom of God 1st' in everything we do and TRUST HIM!  You then will start to experience what David found out in his experience with God.  He even wrote it down and sang about it in the Psalms.

'Trust in the Lord , and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord , And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord , Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.'

Psalms 37:3-5

As we 'TRUST IN THE LORD' for every move, motive and thought and get in His step . . . then, its like the 'Kingdom Treasures' begin to open in the measure abundantly according to our faith.

The woman who had a disease that caused bleeding for 12 years found this out, and after she spent her money on doctors and could not be healed, she got in step and said to herself in faith, "If I could only touch the hem of His garment, I will be HEALED".  And, she was healed when she connected with the 'ABUNDANCE GIFT' of HEALING by touching Jesus' garment (See Luke 8:40-48)   

Most of the time we just need to get out of the way and let the Lord have His way, and the 'ABUNDANCE GIFT' opens before us.  Amen.
