Humility: Best WISDOM 'Move' Ever!

Did you ever wonder how 'wise men' stayed 'wise'?

"Yes, I wonder how'd they 'stayed WISE'?" 

  

They learned the secret of  'humility' and served others.  

AND, they gave ALL CREDIT TO GOD and to others who helped them, but never boasted about themselves or drew attention to themselves or their 'wisdom'.

HUMILITY

'Who is wise and understanding among you?
By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.
But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth.
This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 'James 3:13-17

There is so much 'wisdom' the scriptures above, an entire sermon or teaching series could be presented based on these verses in James 3.  If only I would have learned this at an early age!

Proverbs 11:2 it states:

'When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.'

'PRIDE' and 'self-pride' leads to separation from God.  

PRIDE

PRIDE deceives the person in believing that his or her self 'wisdom' or 'strength' helped them achieve their accomplishments.  

GIFTS & TALENTS

The TRUTH IS, God has placed talents, gifts and wisdom in all individuals to do certain tasks for the Kingdom of God.  The 'sad story' is that these GIFTS AND WISDOM still work 'without repentance' because they are spiritual endowments from God Himself and are to be used for His glory and purpose.  

Please read the following scripture:

 'For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.'  Romans 11:29

WASTED WISDOM & TALENTS

What this means, is that God has given everyone of us gifts.  What is 'WASTED', is that most people don't develop their 'gifts or talents' and then wonder why they are unemployed, living in poverty or 'just getting by'!

Many people will die without using their 'gifts' or callings to help themselves or mankind.  This is the greatest 'wasted resource' of human kind.  We worry about 'wasting our natural resources' and usually mankind doesn't care about 'wasting our human resources'!!  

SOMEONE OUT THERE!

I believe that someone 'out there' has a cure for cancer, someone has a solution to the drug crisis, someone has a cure for the flu and common cold.  But, they haven't pursued their calling.  All the advances that have been made in medicine and technology is because of people who pursued their calling, talent and their interest!

In Eternity, all mankind will have to give an account for the talents and gifts that we have been entrusted with.  When we finally learn that;

Where WILL YOU STAND??  

WILL YOU STAND IN THAT YOU USED ALL THE TIME AND TALENT THAT GOD GAVE YOU FOR HIS GLORY??

Please don't be depressed about what has been said.  Start this very moment living your 'best life forward' by using what you have for the Kingdom of God!

The "WISEMAN" knows this. AND, stays humble and believes that God will give 'him more' WISDOM to do more things beyond his natural ability.
