'Attachments', are they 'good' or are they 'bad'?
When 'our attachment's' keep us from moving on into what the Lord has for us in our spiritual growth, 'our attachments' can be 'bad' or a hindrance for the next phrase of our spiritual growth or progress in life.
'Our attachments' and memories of 'what were' have a tendancy keep us from moving on into what the Lord has for us in our spiritual growth and purpose.
You see, we are not our own and have been bought with the price of Jesus' blood to do those things that God fore-ordained us to do for His glory.
Let us not fall into the trap like the children of Israel did in wanting to go back to Egypt for their leeks and meat.
God has great things in store for us just ahead. Let go of those past times and 'attachments', cause these days and the ones ahead are glorious!!
These are the 'good old days' like the song says. 😉
Great 'unattachment' instructions from Paul:
"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13b-14 NIV
Keep 'unattached' to gain the prize 🏆
