Are you awake, yet?
Time to get a coffee and say our morning prayers and read the Word of God.
The world out there is trying to lull us to sleep and say 'there's no use trying, or there's no hope'.
Such lies and deception from 'the enemy' of our faith in the Lord Jesus.
We should stay awake to the need to passionately share the gospel, awake to the hope of our future, awake to love others more boldly for Jesus, and stay awake to the enemy’s lies.
Let the Word below encourage us and direct us today and every day while we are on the gospel road that leads to life.
Carefully determine what pleases the Lord. Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.
Ephesians 5:10-11, 14-17 NLT
