"A Fire by Night, A Cloud by Day" A Sure G.P.S.

Good Morning Dear Friends,
How in the World Are you?
Good I hope ... Faithman.

'A modern GPS system'

"A Fire by Night, A Cloud by Day - A sure GPS"

'And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people'.
Exodus 13:21‭-‬22 NKJV

"This had to be the 1st 'GPS' ever"!

'A fire by night and a cloud by day'.  The 'fire' provided not only direction, but light and heat for the cool nights.  The 'cloud' in the day, gave protection from the sun's rays and direction also!

Did you know as believers, that we have a 'built-in' GPS (God's Positioning Spirit) ??

God has sent His 'Holy Spirit' to guide us and lead us in all our ways.  May we ever be sensitive to listen and obey His 'GPS'.  Being sensitive and obedient will help us from getting off of His Way and Plan for our lives.
Amen.

In the Old Testament, King David also penned down his GPS source, with the Word of the Lord.
'Show me Your ways, O Lord ; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day'.
Psalms 25:4‭-‬5 NKJV

In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul gave us an example of using the GPS in Galatians ...

Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s (GPS) leading in every part of our lives.
Galatians 5:25 NLT

Yes, God loves to guide us in every part of our lives.  He will be our guide even unto death and beyond.

Let us ever be sensitive and obedient to the GPS (otherwise known as the Holy Spirit) everyday!

Amen!

Have a GPS day!
Faithman
