One Word for Today: 'ASK'

Today's One Word Scripture: Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

Psalms 2:8 NIV

One Word for Today: 'ASK' 

Today's writing will be on 'ASKING'.

'ASK' ... a simple '3-letter' word In God's WORD that we fail to 'employ or do' when coming to God in our prayer timesor in our times of need.  

While waiting on the Lord this morning, the Lord led me to this verse 2x.  I have read this verse and am familiar with it.   It was as if the Holy Spirit said to 'ASK' and 'ASK' with boldness in my prayers!

And the Holy Spirit nudged me to write this WORD 'ASK' down in today's message.

It is a simple thing to simply 'ASK' our Heavenly Father 'the giver of the gifts' to give us the things that we need to sustain a good, growing and vibrant Life in the Lord. 

Remember, HE IS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER and loves to give 'good gifts'. 

So then, I challenge you today to ASK the Lord for things you don't normally ASK for yourselves and for others.  

ASK for that HEALING you need. 

ASK for that JOY that you need.

ASK for that PEACE that you need.

ASK for that DIRECTION you need.

ASK for that COMFORT you need. 

Remember, usually when we have not ... we have not, because we have 'ASKED' not.
