Season of Advent: 'The Prophetic Callings of Jesus'

Hello this wonderful Thursday Morning 🎄

Christmas Time is very near.

Yes, Christmas is A Time of the Anticipation of the Lord's Spirit moving in our lives as we celebrate the Birth of Jesus and end out the year old year, and look forward to the New Year.

As Advent plays out in our present days, we prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of the Christ Child.  As I reflect on His birth, His Life and His Purpose in our lives, I still marvel of the prophetic anticipation of Jesus' Callings and His Titles.

Let us review the Lord's prophetic titles and callings as written by the prophet Isaiah:

'For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. ' Isaiah 9:6-7

Jesus today is still . . .
  • Wonderful
  • Our Counselor
  • The Mighty God
  • The Everlasting Father
  • The Prince of Peace
  • And of His Government & Peace there shall be No End.
I find myself appreciating Jesus' 'Prophetic roles' more and more every day in my life.  His Spirit is moving again in my life and in the life of others.  May this Advent Season be a time of heart preparation and complete focus on the Lord's calling in our lives.  May our Wonderful, Counselor direct us to His complete Peace this special Advent Season.
Amen!
Jesus is REALLY the REASON for the SEASON!
