Target⦾ Focus: God's Gift of Grace!

Happy 1st Monday of 2022!

WOO HOO!!

I hope that you all are off to a 'great 2022'!

Good Morning!  So grateful that you are here with me this beautiful morning!  Sun shining morning (remember the Sun is always shining no matter where we are at . . . some day's its just a bit brighter!)

Here in NE Ohio, the weather can change so quickly since we are near the Great Lakes area and 'catch the lake winds' frequently.

Today's Gift we get to open is . . .

Grace!

 None of us would be here this morning if it weren't for 'God's Grace'!

What an awesome, everlasting, never failing gift! 

This scripture is 'so fitting' . . . 

So, I 'fit it in' here!  Please read . . .

'And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. '

Ephesians 2:6-10

AMEN!  I could probably do a teaching everyday in 2022 on this verse alone!  It is so full of information and full of 'Grace' that every time I read it, it puts me on the 'launch pad' for 'Heaven's Best'!

Where are our thoughts this morning?  On COVID? On bad weather? On what will 2022 hold for me, for the Church?  

Let us be reminded, that what ever 'thought' we 'FOCUS ON', we become or give ourselves into!

I recently received a book as a gift from my family called 'Life is Good'.  It is a great book, it's caracter 'Jake' reminds me a bit like 'Faithman'.  This book gives examples of people who became or were optimistic in tough situations and over came incredible odds. 

By Now, you probably wonder what is going on with 'Faithman' this year. 

 'Faithman' is hunkered down and taking a refreshing bath in God's Bathtub (aka the Word of God) and with God's Soap, known as Grace is focusing him on God's vision for 2022!

It is Amazing Grace, when we bathe our souls in God's Grace, how clean our thoughts, purpose and souls become as we align ourselves with God's gift of Grace.  

It frees us up to do the WILL OF GOD!  So therefore . . .

So then, may I encourage you to open God's Gift of Grace this morning!  You are free from condemnation.  And free to walk in the 'good works' that God intended you to walk in before the foundation of this world!
