Target⦾ Focus: God's Gift of Hope!

Happy Tuesday!  We are 4 days into January 2022 already!
And, we are moving through God's Gift List rather quickly! 😉

Here is a 'review' God's Gifts List ...

In 2021 & 2022 'A to Z' The LORD has provided us with these great gifts:

His Zeal

We are now on the letter 'H' which means we get to open God's Gift of Hope.

"HOPE" it is a gift we can't live life without!

While doing research on the word 'HOPE' in the Bible, I found that there were many scripture references to the word HOPE.  Here are a few of them for you to read and to meditate on.  As you do, allow the Holy Spirit to solidify your HOPE in the LORD!  Such a great gift HOPE is!

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in HOPE, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.  Romans 12:11‭-‬12 NIV

May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13 NIV

And now these three remain: faith, HOPE and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV

Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the HOPE set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this HOPE as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.  Hebrews 6:17‭-‬20 NIV

Now faith is confidence in what we HOPE for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:1 NIV

These scriptures are POWERFUL examples of the gift of HOPE that God has given us!

The Greek word for HOPE in these texts are: ἐλπίς.  HOPE written in English is: elpis
It's Pronunciation is: el-pece'
Definition: It means to anticipate with pleasure, expectation or confidence: or otherwise means - faith & HOPE.

Just think if there was no HOPE in the world today.  Only the Word of God gives us lasting HOPE.  There is no other source that can give us the truth of God's HOPE.  Therefore, we move, we live and HOPE in the Promises of GOD every moment.

Encourage each other often with the Gift of HOPE!
Faithman!
