Good Morning Dear LEJ Friends,

How in the 'life race' are you??

Are you still 'stopped?'  

Are you ready to run??

 

We have been 'stopped' for quite a while!  But for a good reason.

Now it is time to 'Get On Your Mark ... Get Set ..."

Did you ever wonder what the phrase means, 'Get On Your Mark, Get Set, Go!?'

It is a 3- command start when running a race:

1. On Your Mark, means get in or on your lane or spot ...

2. Get to your 'starting' position,

3. Go! THIS MEANS 'TAKE OFF!!'

Paul and the other apostles looked at their 'Christian walk' as a race.  They would look at the qualities of what would honor Christ in their lives and reject the habits, things and vices that would hinder their Christian witness and reward.

Let me encourage you like a running coach would.  Only do things that strengthen your walk.  Only say things that would strengthen your witness.  Only think things that 'build you up' and cause you to finish your race with God with JOY!

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Acts 20:24 NKJV

Tomorrow, the race starts and 'Faith Man' will be your coach as we run the race of faith together.  I almost can hear the cheers for all of us at 'finish line'.
