The 'Word Brings Light'

The 'Word is Light and Brings Light'! 

The Windows of Heaven Opened! Then God Spoke & there was LIGHT*!

As we continue in the 1st week of Advent season, I am intrigued by the power of  'words' and especially 'those words' that are 'LIGHT words'.    

What are 'LIGHT' words?  'Light Words' are 'words' that immediately that stir up goodness and joy in our conversation with others and even ourselves when we just think of the 'LIGHT Words'! 

I have been thinking about my 'LIGHT Word' usage and made a list of them.

Here is my Top 'Light Word' list:

• Hope
• Joy
• Peace
• Light
• Faith
• Believe
• Love
• Cheer
• Goodness
• Grace
• Mercy
• Forgiveness

The Wonder of 'Light Words' 🕯️ have a profound effect on the 'darkness' ⚫ around us.  

Yes, when we read and think about these 'LIGHT' Words and use them, our inward conversation and our understanding becomes enLIGHTened!!!

In the early verses of the Bible the account of 'Words of LIGHT' and its effects changed the world forever!   

Use 'LIGHT Words' often in your thinking and prayers and watch how your day changes for the good as your dark thoughts become 'extinguished'!  Amen!

Here is my 'Advent Light Challenge' Daily List:

1st. Start my day with a smile (I look 'in the mirror 1st thing' to make sure my light is adjusted right 😉) and to smile at others whom I see throughout the day!

2nd. Share 'Light Scriptures' and special stories with my LEJ Friends.

3rd. Look for sources of 'Light, Joy & Hope' throughout the season (and take pictures when able)!

4th  Give 'Gifts of Light' throughout the Advent season.
